Mr. Randy Mazourek is the Hernando County Property Appraiser. As the lead agency for Hernando County’s Central GIS program, Mr. Mazourek is committed to providing an exceptional GIS system that serves as an integral part of the Property Appraiser’s Office CAMA system (Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal), as well as the county’s source data used in various departmental programs and daily processes. His focus has been on reviewing and improving how the IT team and the Centralized GIS Team coordinate workflows, resulting in cost savings for the county and benefits for its residents. One example of this is the new Property Appraiser’s website, which utilizes both cloud servers and ESRI’s cloud infrastructure (ArcGIS Online) to provide faster performance and failover capability in the event of a disruption to the county’s IT infrastructure.
